Port Security Awareness for Non-Security Personnel

Online DfT Compliant & CPD Approved Training

Course Introduction

The security of ports and port facilities should be considered as a top priority under the requirements for border security, as well as considerations made to both organised criminal activities, and the potential for acts of terrorism. However, port security is by no means the responsibility of dedicated security staff alone, it is also the responsibility of everyone who works in or frequents the port or port facility on a regular basis. It is of the utmost importance that all personnel are instructed in security awareness, and that they follow a consistent and effective methodology, and that all ports and port facilities operate at a consistent level. VIRSEC provides the fully online, DfT Compliant Port Security Awareness for Non-Security Personnel course to meet with these requirements.
